SUMMARY:
1. Responsible primarily for coordination of Derma patient care andmaintaining department nursing practice.
2. Act as team leader in clinical, professional and patient education practices.
3. Ensure the provision and maintenance of quality care by qualifiedand competent staff.
4. Perform full responsibilities when department head nurse is not available.
ESSENTIAL TASKS:
1. Assess plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care of patientsthroughout the hospitalization
2. Document accurately and concisely the care provided and its outcome
3. Carry out investigation and treatment prescribed by the physician
4. Communicate and discuss patient’s response to treatment andprogress with physician and nursing colleagues assigned to patient
5. Collaborate and co-operate with physicians and other health careproviders in the smooth delivery of patient care and service.
6. Participate actively in physician’s round.
7. Prepare and assist physician with procedures.
8. Follow - up to ensure continuity of patient care and treatment plan.
9. Deliver safe and competent nursing care.
10. Demonstrate clinical skills, knowledge and critical thinking in thedelivery of patient care.
11. Provide patient / family information and education on diseaseprevention, process and rehabilitation.
12. Manage complex patient care.
13. Maintain and care in the use of the equipment and supplies.
14. Act as a resource person.
15. Provide guidance, direction and teaching to N4 level and below, inorder to ensure that quality care rendered is to all the patients.
16. Provide guidance and orientation to nursing staff assigned to the unit.
17. Facilitate the smooth running of the unit.
18. Deputize the Nurse Manager in her / his absence.
19. Cross-cover other department patients as needed assigned by manager.

Qualifications:
1. Hold current PRC nursing license.
2. Minimum 8 years of FM or other related urgent care working experience.
3. Overseas experience preferred.
4. Valid certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, etc.) per hospital policy.
5. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, HIS.
6. Able to communicate in English.
