Description
A postdoctoral research scientist position is available within the EU Marie Curie Research Training Network “Chromatin Plasticity.”
We are interested in epigenetic regulation in animal cells. The current goals are to study the regulation of the pleuripotency determining gene Oct-3/4, and to decipher the epigenetic mechanisms that underlie immunoglobulin allelic exclusion, a process critical to the functioning of the immune system.
Selected publications:

Qualifications:
A good understanding of developmental and molecular biology, especially epigenetic regulation and gene expression, would be desirable.
Visit www.chromatin-plasticity.org for more information on the Chromatin Plasticity network. Please note that the position is funded by the EU and can in principle only be awarded to a non-Israeli national who has not lived in Israel for longer than 12 months in the last 3 years.
