Research Description
An exciting postdoctoral position, under the direction of Dr. Jorge Moscat, is available to study the role of signaling kinases and adapters in the control of oncogenic transformation and its impact in cancer cell metabolic reprogramming and inflammation in the tumor microenvironment. Our goal is to identify potential new therapeutic targets for cancer treatment. Publications describing ongoing studies have appeared in for example: Mol. Cell 8, 771 (2001); Cell Metab. 3, 211 (2006); Mol. Cell 23, 631 (2006); Cell 137, 1001 (2009); Cell Metab. 12, 65 (2010); Mol. Cell 44, 134 (2011); Cell 147, 724 (2011).
